Show or Hide Panels in Guitar Pro 8

Guitar Pro allows you to customize its interface by showing or hiding various panels, helping you create a workspace suited to your editing or composition needs.

This feature, accessible from the View menu or via the toolbar, lets you control the visibility of key interface elements to streamline your workflow.

## Available Panels

You can show or hide the following panels:

  • Editing Palette: Located on the left side of the screen, this panel provides quick access to notation and editing tools.
  • Track and Score Inspectors: Located on the right side of the screen, they offer detailed settings for tracks and the score.
  • Global View: Located at the bottom of the screen, it displays all tracks in your project for easier navigation.

To manage panel visibility:

  1. Go to the View menu and select the panel you want to show or hide.
  2. You can also use the display shortcut in the toolbar (at the top left of the screen) to quickly toggle the Editing Palette, Inspector, or Global View.
