Playback in Guitar Pro 8
In Guitar Pro 8 you can launch the playback through the Sound > Play menu, using the Play button in the Toolbar or simply using the Space bar.
These controls also work to pause or stop.
The playback always begins where the cursor is positioned.
Play in Loop
Click the Loop icon in the toolbar or select the Loop option from the Sound menu to activate loop playback mode, repeating either your entire score or the section you’ve previously selected.
Moving Between Bars
Moving between bars in Guitar Pro lets you navigate your score effortlessly, providing precise control to explore or practice your music.
From the Sound menu, options First Bar, Rewind, Fast Forward, Last Bar, and Play from Start make this navigation seamless, instantly jumping to the start, end, or key points in your composition.
These options are also available in the toolbar next to the Play button.
Step-by-Step Playback
For even finer control, the Step Backward and Step Forward options, triggered by the keyboard shortcuts Option + Left Arrow or Option + Right Arrow, are ideal for listening to beats one by one, and for analyzing or rehearsing a specific section.
