Hellana Pandora
In the world of progressive metal, few artists have followed such an eclectic and exciting path as Hellana Pandora. Hellana began her musical career with ten years of solid training on the piano, before turning to the guitar, captivated by the freedom of expression offered by this instrument on a night out with friends.
This transition marked the start of a rich and diverse musical adventure, punctuated by a variety of collaborations and international successes.
Before creating the character of Hellana Pandora in 2020 for her group Secret Zero, specialising in covers of Japanese anime theme songs, she already had an impressive track record. With six albums produced and recorded as part of various projects, and over 2 000 concerts to her name across the USA, Japan and Europe (including notable appearances at festivals such as Wacken and Download Festival), Hellana has established herself as a key figure in the guitar scene.
Secret Zero, launched to perform at manga conventions, quickly won over the hearts of the public, enabling Hellana Pandora and his band to perform on prestigious stages such as Japan Expo, Japan Tours Festival and Japan Touch, consolidating their reputation in the post-COVID era.
The evolution of Hellana‘s playing style is notable, moving from diverse influences to instrumental progressive metal where the melody takes precedence while exploring the technical aspects of the guitar with renewed passion. Endorsed by Mayones, Hellana particularly cherishes her Regius 7, testifying to her long-standing admiration for the brand, after having played on PRS and Schecter guitars.
His musical influences run a large spectrum, from Joe Satriani and John Petrucci to Synyster Gates and Jason Richardson, not forgetting the one and only Tim Henson. This diversity is reflected in his playing, where technique and melody meet to create unique compositions.
Guitar Pro is simply the standard, it was an obvious choice as I wanted to share my tabs!
