“I’m Jamie Slays, and I’ve been playing guitar since 2004. Metal is my passion, and Metallica is hands down my favorite band. I’m self-taught, and over the past 20 years, I’ve relied on tabs and Guitar Pro to hone my skills.
I’ve aimed to create a space where metal guitarists can come to improve their skills or simply enjoy some metal covers. On my channel, I try to offer a mix of entertainment, education, and gear reviews, all fueled by my love for the genre.”
I have been using guitar pro since 2006 when I first started to learn the guitar.
I love that I can essentially play along to a song and sight read as I never knew how to read notes etc…
I use it to write my own music as I can flesh out the compositions that I hear in my head. its such a great tool for learning, writing, composing. Every guitarist/musician should use it!
