Naraka
Naraka was founded in 2019 by Jean-Philippe Porteux. The band’s style is a blend of modern metal and death metal with some symphonic touches. The debut album, “In Tenebris,” was produced by Logan Mader, and the artwork was made by Seth Siro Anton from Septicflesh. This debut album, released in October 2021 via Blood Blast Distribution and Season of Mist, also features two guest artists, Veronica Bordachinni from Fleshgod Apocalypse and Lindsay Schoolcraft (ex Cradle of Filth, Antiqva, solo artist).
Naraka toured throughout Europe in 2022, supporting Cradle of Filth, Alcest, Nile, and Krisiun. The band’s second album, “Born in Darkness,” will be released in 2025 via Art Gates Records, also produced by Logan Mader, and featuring Sotiris Anunnaki V from Septicflesh as a guest on one track. The band will tour with Cradle of Filth and Nervosa during the summer of 2025 after sharing the stage with Loudblast and Black Bomb A in France.
Because it makes the songwriting process very easy, we create the skeleton of the song and record it after!
What’s your favourite feature?
Our favourite feature is the possibility to add different layers of instrumentation like guitar, bass and drums, and have a global vision of what the track will look like.
How long have you been using it?
We’ve been using Guitar Pro for many years, 15 if my memory is good.
