David Wallimann

David Wallimann [Fusion, USA]

David, a Franco-American, picked up the guitar at 15 and rapidly developed a true love for instrumental music and composition. In 1999 he was endorsement from Ibanez for his promising musical achievements. Graduating with honors from Artist' school of modern music in Cavaillon, he won first place in the Tal Farlow National French Jazz Contest, with full scholarship at the CMA school of modern music in Valenciennes, France. David worked with several bands recording, writing and playing shows in France and Belgium before moving to the US to join the world renowned Glass Hammer for several albums and live DVDs. After several solo albums he is currently working on a new one; and teaching guitar online he has developed a unique method of encouraging students and players to improvise over backing tracks: maptracks.
David currently works for www.jamplay.com where he gives live video tuition 6 days a week. He also releases 2 new videos a week on his Youtube channel. And of course, you can see him on www.davidwallimann.com.

I use Guitar Pro daily and couldn’t imagine tabbing anything without it.
